This is an excellent temple. Name of this Ganesh is 'Dashbhuja Ganapati'. This 'Laxmi – Ganesh Temple' is not only ancient but also rare. This temple may have been erected in the period of Peshwa. The deity has been founded on the top of Mountain. The Ganesh idol has been carved in white stone. Such stones are found in Kashmir region. The specialty of the idol is that this is 3 feet high and it has 10 hands. This majestic idol is on a seat of 2 feet. This idol is very charming. There is big ceremony of birth of Ganesh from Shukla Chaturthi to Shashthi in Magh. There is procession of Ganesh in chariot. There are no hotels or lodges so tourists have to stay either in Chiplun or in Guhagar to visit this place. Though tourists will not get accommodation and food according to their choice, they can get it from local community. There is one more temple. It is Uma-Maheshwar temple in Bamanha.

Anjanvel is an quiet island on the southern most bank of Vashishti River at the confluence of Arabian Sea near Guhagar town of Ratnagiri District of Maharashtra. Anjanvel port is located at this place and is considered as all weather natural seaport. This seaport offers facilities for shipbuilding and old ship breakings and maintenances. Anjanvel is an orthodox fishing village with traditional fishing practices blended with modern fishing boats with engine. Approximate distance from Guhagar 29.0 kilometer. Baman Ghal is situated on Hedvi beach. Baman Ghal is unique landscape in its own way. This beautiful natural wonder is a gorge in the black rock patch and is around 20 feet deep, 35 feet long and 1-2 feet wide in dimensions. During the high tide, the sea water gushes in and splashes around. Its fun to watch this wonder. Also visit Dashabhuja shree Ganpati Mandir at Hedvi.

The Dabhol Power Company was a company based in India, formed to manage and operate the Dabhol Power Plant. The Dabhol plant was built through the combined effort of Enron, GE, and Bechtel. GE provided the generating turbines to Dabhol, Bechtel constructed the physical plant, and Enron was charged with managing the project through Enron International.
The power plant Phase I which was re-named Ratnagiri Gas and Power Pvt Ltd (RGPPL) started operation in May 2006, after a hiatus of over 5 years. However, the Dabhol plant ran into further problems, with RGPL shutting down the plant on 4 July 2006 due to a lack of naphtha supply. Qatar based RasGas Company Ltd. started supplying LNG to the plant in April 2007.
In this village there is a well known temple of Bhagwan Parshuram because of it this village got this name. Vehicles can reach up to the temple. One can reach here by climbing 'Pakhadi' through peth map area from Chiplun. Tourists who want to enjoy natural beauty of this area should reserve some time during the trip. People here used to know time from the sound from cannon. This temple is an excellent example of ancient sculpture. Paths are made up of jambha stone.
They are known as ‘pakhadya’ they are also in good condition. All premises also have jambha stone construction. In the innermost part of the temple there are idols of Kal, Kam and Parshuram. In premises there is a well. Its name is Banganga. The atmosphere of this temple fascinates everyone.
Calm and beautiful nature and idol of Parshuram made up of black stone and other idols charming appearance take us in different world. The building of this temple is also an excellent example of architecture. On the day of Parshuram Jayanti (i.e. Akshaytrutiya) there is a huge ceremony. Thousands of devotes gather for the occasion. There is a temple of Bhagwan Parshuram‘s mother Renukamata.
